CEO Mary Los’e joins Pacific Mission 2023

Our Pacific Business Trust CEO, Mary Los’e, recently joined Deputy Prime Minister, Carmel Sepuloni, as part of the Pacific Mission 2023 delegation to the Solomon Islands, Fiji and Tonga.

It's the first mission undertaken since COVID-19, Ms Los'e, alongside community, business and iwi leaders, and Members of Parliament, met with counterparts from the three Pasefika nations to share and collaborate on areas of shared cooperation between Aotearoa New Zealand and our Pacific region. The mission was extra special for Ms Los’e as it also provided an opportunity to visit her father's homeland in Tonga for the first time.

“It was humbling to honour my father and brother (who captained Tonga at a rugby world cup) to go to Tonga for the first time on a government delegation with the Deputy Prime Minister,” says Ms Los’e.
