Kim was appointed as CEO in September 2016. With a reputation as a pragmatic and strategic leader, Kim has founded two successful and highly regarded law firms in the competitive Sydney market. Combining her business expertise with her legal background Kim has built an international client base and is known for her skill in achieving the business outcomes clients want.
Kim understands business and has developed a reputation as a strong supporter of start-ups, harnessing diversity and developing innovative business models.
A committed entrepreneur, professional, partner and mother, Kim believes it is possible to rethink attitudes to balance career, personal and business ambition which transcend traditional behaviours and business models.
Kim is the co-architect, developer and presenter of an Australasian leadership and professional development program which enhances leadership and entrepreneurial skills and career opportunities for ambitious, high performing individuals.
Kim holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (Comparative Development & International Relations) degrees from the University of New South Wales; and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. She has also been admitted as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
As well as being an entrepreneur and highly skilled advocate Kim is also a published author and has written extensively on law and has a keen academic interest and background in economic and social development.
Through her father, Kim is of Cook Islands (Aitutaki) descent. She is passionate about economic and social equity and celebrating the achievements, strengths and success of Pacific communities.
