Two things you need to know about end of year tax 2022:
The end of year tax process is automatic.
Refunds are automatic.
From May 28 to June 4 IRD will send you one of the following:
An income tax assessment telling you if you have paid the right amount of tax, have a refund or tax to pay.
A request for you to provide or confirm information about your income.
End of year tax returns are expected to be paid from mid-May to the end of July.
IRD have also developed facts sheets outlining help that is available to businesses during the Omicron outbreak. These fact sheets are also available in other languages – as below.

One week to go! Health and Safety workshop
Our next Health and Safety workshop for Construction businesses is a week away on Thursday 21 April, and we don’t want you to miss out.
This workshop introduces you to key health and safety concepts and obligations that business owners should know and understand.
