I greatly appreciate the generous offer and support provided by Pacific Business Trust (PBT) to extend my study at the organisation.  The time and flexibility to work on the HR system of the organisation is part of my internship programme, to complete my degree.

Starting this week, I did not know what to expect. The task I have been given, to review the HR processes and procedures requires practice. The continued support every day helps me and I am continuously challenged in different ways.  This week was also able to discover writing and reading skills that I did not think I had.

Just observing how the office works every day has taught me more about teamwork, and how people can come together to get things done. I feel that I am not alone, as I feel welcome and that everyone cares. Sometimes, I even have to remind myself to use my inside voice. This week has definitely given me a better understanding of my skill set and where my career may take me, but most importantly, I am learning every day and I am becoming more confident.

I feel I have adapted to the office life relatively well.  Once again, I thank everyone for the support in helping me to transition to working at the organisation.
