Applications close 19 November 2020. How do I apply for the funding?

A link will be provided to you following the completion of your online stallholder application.

What’s the criteria? To be eligible for funding for your stallholder site fee you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, be of pacific ethnicity and have a valid IRD number. You will also need to complete a business health check. What is a business health check? The Pacific Business Trust (PBT) is the Pacific economic development agency of New Zealand and is a free, confidential and personalised service designed around supporting you. PBT focuses on growing innovation and supporting talent and leadership through its customised business programmes and services. You will have a one-on-one conversation with a PBT business advisor to determine your business goals, and identify how PBT can best support you with their range of services. PBT will then provide recommendations as part of an Individualised Support and Referral Plan and outline any next steps. One of the recommendations could be to come along to one of PBT’s free business or industry-specific workshops, or you could be eligible for funding grants for a range of services from one of PBT’s culturally-competent, trusted service providers. These services include financial and legal advice, through to marketing and growth strategies. When will I know if I’ve been successful in my application for stallholder site funding? All stallholders will be notified mid-December once you are confirmed as a Pasifika Festival stallholder and you have completed a business health check with PBT. Remember, applying for the stallholder funding is in addition to completing the Stallholder Application for Pasifika Festival 2021.
